Policies & Admission Process (Pre-Primary & Primary)

Our School

The aim of the School is to develop character and personality of pupils through graded responsibility, personal guidance and social awareness

The School also prepares pupils for brilliant academic background, to enable them to occupy leading place in the life of the country with a view to serving their motherland in the best possible manner.

To attain these objectives the school has appointed a well trained and highly qualified staff.

General Rules

Attendance:

Pupils are expected to be present in the School on all working days of the School in time.

Punctually:

Pupils should be punctual at all times. Disciplinary action will be taken against habitual defaulters in this matter. Leave notes should necessarily be written in the School diary by the parents.

Discipline:

Pupils are strictly warned not to leave the School premises during School hours including recess time.

No pupil shall buy any eatable from hawkers outside the school compound. Parents co-operation, specially regarding homework, regular studies and regular attendance at School is highly desirable and will be much appreciated.

Private Tuition:

Private tuitions are believed to have been educationally unsound and undesirable and they are to be discouraged. We don`t promote private tuition to our students.

Examinations:

There will be two Term Exams in the academic year .Yearly performance of the child will be taken into consideration for passing. The standard for passing is minimum 35 percent of the marks in each subject.

Prize & Merit Cards:

Various Prizes are given to the winners of different competition. Merit card will be awarded to the deserving pupils.

The teachers can be contacted only by previous appointment through the Principal only on Saturdays.

Parents and guardians are requested not to go directly to any classroom when teaching work is going on.

Attendance & Absence:

1. Every student is expected to attend school regularly and punctually.
2. No leave of absence will be granted without a letter from the parents or guardian to this effect.
   In case of illness , the application for leave of absence along with the medical certificate should be submitted on the first day of absence.
3. Absence without permission for one continuous month may lead to the removal of the pupil from the School.
4. If the parents/guardians wish to withdraw the pupil from the school the parents or guardian must inform the school authorities one month in advance.

School Calendar:

Every pupil must bring his/her calendar daily to school.

School Uniform –NO UNIFORM-NO SCHOOL

1. The pupil must wear the school uniform on all working days and for all school functions. A pupil who is not in school uniform must bring a note of excuse in the calendar from his parent or guardian.
2. The boys must turn out in close cropped hair. Girls need to tie and comb their hair properly . They may use brown hair bands or ribbons.

School Fees

School fees are to be paid till 31st July in “The Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank Ltd.”

Note:- The fees is comparatively low from the other schools in the vicinity.

Admission:

Admissions are given to deserving pupils in the standards for which they are found fit, subject to the availability of vacancies.

Admissions are finalized only when the leaving certificate from the previous school or birth certificate from the corporation etc. are produced.

Eligibility and conditions :-

• For students of Jr.Kg. age criteria is 4 years completed.
• 25% seats are reserved for R.T.E.Quota.
• The age for admission for Std I is 6 years with a corresponding increase for higher classes. Admissions are finalized only when the leaving certificate from the previous school or birth certificate from the corporation etc are produced. Pupils coming from other States and Overseas will be subjected to a written test.
